Nullifiers are the ultimate trolls of Warframe. TLDR This is not a Limbo problem, Nullifiers are a problem for ALL warframes. They are not a challenge, just a nuisance. Best suggestion for DE would be to go to the folder that contains all things pertaining to nullifiers and burning it in hellfire! Such an enemy should not exist. Since in a intense firefight you can never see them coming until they activate their bubble. And all of a sudden, in the blink of an eye their bubble balloons to super mega ultra size. Those buggers that dont activate their bubble until they are literally near you and/or near your bubble/globe. Being the troll they are, they have those 1 special ultimate troll withtn their ranks. The only way to counter them is to shoot their annoying large bubble. They are truly the laziest enemy design in Warframe. Pls constructive comments and no Limbo trash- or 'meh'-talk. Without his 4 he is unfortunately for now, quite useless. So getting ambushed by enemies inside cataclysm that are being freed by a nullifier doesnt make it for limbo much easier but a lot more fair. Often this leads to that there arent many slots left for sustainable Mods. Limbo isnt the best Warframe but his abilites can be manipulated and tailored to many situations. Inside the cataclysm without stasis is like outside the cataclysm without any abilities. So if you want to prevent the enemies from killing you inside of your cataclysm you need to get rid of the Nullifiers before they get too close to you or the objective. You cannot shoot things that are outside of it and vice versa. However cataclysm has also his disadvantages. Cataclysm becomes unaffected by Nullifier.Īt first thought it seems like this idea makes him really strong: 'Cataclysm cannot be destroyed anymore by enemies except if you go down'. Allies that are touched by the nullifier bubble inside cataclysm become unaffected by Stasis aswell. Instead all enemies inside the bubble are unaffected while nullifier is up of all his other abilites, e.g Stasis and Rift Surge. Nullifier does not break cataclysm anymore. I was discussing with a friend of mine about many possibilies, how this problem could be approached.

It may makes the situation more tangentable if you think of any survival, interception or capture mission on the void or Jupiter Tileset with its double floored layout and close corners spawn points. You cannot see the foe and you are not able to prevent it. Having sphere-like abilites penetrate walls makes it impossible to gain control over maintaining the cataclysm. The channeling time for your abilities makes you very succeptible to damage in the meantime, so risking to create a cataclysm in an uncertain situation of a nulllifier approach deems you very likely to go down, even in the Rift, as cataclysm is first fully build up for a short second, before it gets destroyed, which pulls you out of the rift. Nullifier bubble generates itself even if the foe is inside cataclysm and under the effect of stasis. There are many additional points I would like to mention which makes this situation unfortunately worse: If there is a Nullifier somewhere close to you, even if he is in the next Tileset or a floor below or above you, you are not going to be able to set up your combo build, which makes him the same as a Warframe who cannot you any of his abilities: quite fragile. However the Nullifier is able, just by touching the Cataclysm, to break it completely apart. Outside of it however, you become either a fine gentleman prone to get killed or passive by staying in the rift (shift ability).Ĭataclysm sounds very strong, and it surely is, but for Limbo it is the only thing he actually has in his arsenal which he can effectively use on pair with other strong warframes of this current patch. Inside of it you gain of all the control. Keeping an eye on the timer and beeing positioned safely to set up your abilities, which have realtive long channeling time, are his main point.

You create a bubble and use 2 and 3, Stasis and Rift Surge to defend yourself and kill the enemies around your bubble. The problem originates from the composition of his abilities. Well Im not here to make an eulogy about Limbo. Depending on the playstyle and the player, he is either the laziest or most tactical Frame out there. His abilities influence enemies and allies like none other Warframe. The community tries to hate him like it is mainstream or fun to do so, which is already getting old. I did all kinds of missions with him already, several times and on a regular basis to find out about is strength and weaknesses.
